This area called "The Shrine" is famous because of its fabulous rockformations. I'll show some more. You might say that the north island mostly has rocky shores while the south has a bit rocks and much sand. The island is "tipped" so that the north end goes up into the air and the south and slopes down into the sand beaches and the sea!! It's funny because the north end is granite and the south end is some granite but also sand stone! Thanks so very much Dagmar!!
This rock wall looks quite impressive, very different from the sandy beaches I have started to associate with the Baltic Sea. :))
