Vabutch, I would like to say thank you, for your postings, for our I vets.,and your service as well. My husband severed in nam, until he was hurt and the military retired him, our 3 three children has also served, our youngest still in, also one son-in-law who is in afgastan and and new daughter-in-law that teaches computors for the national gurad so we all say, thank you.

I just saw your message and yes he is the same one. One of our squadron members is from Maine and contacted him about the wreaths.

Is the man from Maine the same one who send them to Arlington?

No problem. Mine aren't either. One of the doubtful benefits of getting on in age I guess. :)

So glad there are people like you who do not forget and assure those who were lost will never be forgotten.

This is the monument to 10 men our squadron, VP-23, lost in 1954. In 2003 we found out that it was deteriorating. A few of us worked with the American Embasy and the Bahamian Antiquities and Museums to restore it. Then for the past 6 years I have represented our squadron at Memorial Day Services. The guy from Maine sent us the wreaths one year.
