Hi, Kathy. You are right about it being "magical" as this area had a lot of druid activity. Druids are Welsh magical sorcerers similar to shamen. Thanks for commenting.

Not sure if you know the "conger" eel, Lis. They grow to 100+ pounds. I'm afraid that yours would have been a little "tiddler" but still fun to catch. The river eels are more difficult to hold than sea eels. They produce more slime!

Eels are very slippery. Was the eel you caught in the sea or freshwater?

love eels, but pretty expensive in dk. i only fish once. caught an eel and it escaped. since that never again

i'm fishing off the rocks. i used to fish here a lot when i was younger. mackerel, bass, pollock, conger eels. good fun.
