Just what I was thinking KARLS! Some of us remember them - it was also popular to have bags made using them. Mine carried nappies/diapers so that dates them to about very early 70s.

ITS NOT MY BATHMAT FOLKS, IT REMINDS ME OF THE COLOURFUL WOVEN MATS THAT WERE IN A LOT OF HOMES SOME YEARS BACK.
