They won't grow in northern Illinois. We could trade rocks for sweet gum balls.

We are blessed with a yard full of these pretty little things. I've used them for different crafty things but can never use all these this year!
Or sweet gum morris. I like them in a centerpiece bowl for the fall. I think they are pretty cool but wouldn't want them in my yard. The sweet gum trees are beautiful in the fall though.
I think they are cool, lyndee! i brought some North with me, i will be known as morris sweet gum seed!!!
We don't have these around here, but while in St. Louis, we saw tons of these and what a mess they make.
