Yes, I'm grateful too, but not for long. Having spent the last nearly 33 years in Oregon, I'm going to be moving to the Tampa area to be near family sometime in 2013. Won't need my down comforter there.

I have one sister in the Tampa area, another on Long Island, a brother in Delaware and a nephew in Manhattan. I'm worried for all of them, and all the other 60+ million people in harm's way.

Octomom, after I spent 26 years in Phoenix, I now use my down comforter all year long! I have a light-weight one for the summer, but i love my feathers :-)

How true. People don't realize that what goes online stays online forever. I unfriended myself a while ago, and haven't regretted it.

I see you're from Seattle. I'm in Wilsonville, about 20 miles south of Portland. And yes, it's been raining here. Pouring actually, all day, and more to come over the next few days. Hardly unusual for here.

I haven't set up my down comforter yet. It's still too warm down here.
