I can't think of the name of this vine, but it gets a blue flower and the leaves stay green all year

Thanks tex. Mine blooms from Spring through Fall.

Ha, ha, I love Ank's name, Snowinkle! I have this and it won't bloom. I think in the last 10 years it's had maybe one or two blooms. It's shady, but gets some sun. I wish I could get rid of the Asian Jasmine mixed in with it. Nice pic, Morris.

morris186

And it does, I also like it!

laurajane

I like it. I bought it and planted it with the hope that it would take over and make a nice ground cover.

morris186

It takes over, but it is very easy to take care of!

laurajane

Yes, it's periwinkle. Also known as vinca. I have it in several places in my garden.

morris186

i like that description, pumpkin!

We were typing at the same time, aggie.
Thanks aggie, that is what I knew it as periwinkle.

Thanks for the name, chiuckie. I saw you got snow, yu tuk a great photo of it.
We probably got a good 3 inches. It is snowing very lightly now.

aggie

great groundcover - you're right Chickiemama, it's Vinca Minor also known as periwinkle.

chickiemama
