Yesterday I was driving by this spot in a neighborhood where there is a bubbling water fountain. (I've always wondered why...) And a crow was sitting on the fountain's lip drinking from the spout. He sat there for at least a half a minute like that. Of course I had no camera. but it was the "perfect shot!' So, I know what you mean!!
So true, Pat. There is a flock of Canada Geese that stretch their wings around sunrise most mornings. They seem to know when I'm not in position or not ready. Sooner or later, they will feel bad for me and allow me to take their picture.
Laughng -- When you want to get their picture you can't. But somehow they seem to get in the picture you don't expect them. Good puzzle this morning. Thnaks
The birds are laughing at me. I may spend hours trying to take the picture of a bird, then when I'm not paying any attention, they sneak into the frame!
I think entertainment opportunities are limited for birds.
