OMG! i will get it straight some day. i think perhaps i should no longer address folks with titles. thanks for the clarification Robyn, or Rob then!!! glad you are not near the fires, but sorry for those who are. this is a brutal summer in OZ.
Thanks Trish - & it's Rob as in short for Robyn - so Mrs Rob, but I prefer just plain Rob!! Not that I'm offended, just thought I'd set you straight:))) No - we are about 1000km (600mls) north of Sydney & about double that distance from the other fires in Victoria. I'm in Brisbane - capitol city of the state of Queensland. The whole summer has been shocking with so many fires.
i figured male, i was just teasing. if the female were this colorful, she would never hide her young. i had to look it up to see what the heck, maybe you were fooling with us. but no, it is what it is!!! Love laughing with you Mr Rob. ;) BTW, I hope you aren't near all those wildfires north or sydney. my heart goes out to those who are.
Thanks for commenting Nova. LOL!! Thanks Trish - I don't know the gender of this, but female birds are usually duller colours, so this could be a male bird.
well, gah-ahh-lee-gee-whiz! what a schnozola! what does the male look like? you do find the doggonedest critters robryan! this is a doozy. thanks for making my day.
I like this one Rob!!! He's very colorful, and it does kinda look like his tail is helping him keep his balance!! I really do love his face, wish we could have a smaller version of him!
