Well, whatnauts, you've probably heard me say before that I prefer Canadian and European spellings and pronunciations, so I will gladly go along with your clarification.
Of course, I'm advising on the Canadian pronunciation. British and American could be different :)))))
whatnauts, I didn't realize that the "tious" could be spoken in two ways but you're right. Thank you for the clarification!
I think it should be fan-tab-u-la-tious. Long a in la (as in lay) and tious pronounced as shush (as in shush-up).
Hi, Ann, thank you. It's good to see you around as well. I rarely ever see you. ;-) I never heard the term "wheelbarrow word" before but I like it. I'm assuming you are referring to her " fantabulatious." It's funny. I can figure out how to pronounce everything but the "lat." Should it be "lat" as in "late" or "lat" as in "flat"? LOL I actually thought about using this as one of my avatars...and after you suggested it, I probably will change one of mine later on today. I'm glad you like it, and I'm also pleased that you made the top ten list. :-)
Hi Wendy, good to see you around. What an entrance - excuse me! If this is you being unwell or laid up I'd hate to see what 100% does. Just joking - I was most impressed with Pat's wheelbarrow word - if I could pronounce it I'd use it. Wonderful puzzle, loved the waves and the colour blends. You could have them as your own signature. Thanks heaps..
whatnauts, I'm seriously thinking about just using one alias for now on which would cut the amount of puzzles I have to create in half. I have to think about it more.
Well, I think you already know how I feel about that. You have to take care of your hand, so post less puzzles or post a couple of puzzles each day in several sizes, or create easier puzzles, or don't create at all (least favoured option!!!!)
I don't know when I'll make one because my hand is acting up again and this type of puzzle takes a lot of hand action to create, but I just love this, whatnauts.
whatnauts, I think i HAVE to make wheel puzzles again. I miss making them...and I think my reasoning for not making them is no longer valid. :-)
Wonderful wheels :)
I just checked and you only have 6 top spots out of the 8 puzzles I posted today. LOL ;-)
The puzzles I solved today!! You know I won't re-solve puzzles!!!
Mandy, you must be talking about a different puzzle. Camelot is on top of you here. LOL!
Please note I have reverted to my preferred position today... on top!!! LOL :~}
I knew it!!! LOL!
Who me? ;~}
Ohhhh, Mandy, were you referring to what I think you're referring to? Bad Mandy! LOL!
I'm led to understand that an occasional change of position is recommended!!! so I thought I'd try it out :~)
Thank you, Mandy! Why did you allow Camelot to get on top of you though?
It doesn't seem right, or fair. LOL!
Fan...tas...tique.... thanks Wendy. :~)
Mariasha, I missed you too! :-)
Wavy shapes of fun...thanks Wendy. I hope your hand is healing and know that you were missed!
Thanks so much, Pat! This is one of my all-time favorites that I've ever created...but I'm afraid that after being gone for a full month, that people have probably removed me from their Favorites. I want this puzzle saved! I posted it in a smaller size (36 pieces) just to make sure. :-)
This is fantabulatious!!!! It's as if all sorts of wonderful and original ideas got a chance to percolate in your mind while you were MIA, and they all exploded at once into this creation! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, Robbie! It's good to see you too. Speaking of which, I had started a breakfast puzzle for you right around the time that my hand gave out, so I trashed the puzzle. One of these fine days, I'll start over and post it. ;-)
I REALLY like this puzzle, so I hope that others think the same way you do. :-)
Hey Wendy, good to see you around again. Hope all is well, this was a very enjoyable puzzle, thanks.
