You are very accomplished, Magda. We had neighbors from Pakistan. Their son is one of my son's best friends. My son also dated a girl from Pakistan for a while. I can speak a very little Arabic, but don't read or write it for the same reason you don't read or write Urdu. Wasn't Urdu hard to learn? Did you live in Pakistan?
Yes, Urdu, that is the language of Pakistan, therefore the mother-tongue (or should we say father-tongue) of my children, but I do not read and write, as it is in Arabic script.
I am basically from the East, German speaking part of Switzerland. But after my return here I came to the French part, to be nearer my son who is settled here. I live on the Leman (lake of Geneva) at the other end from Geneva. A lovely area, with the mountains and the lake.
An angel and a show girl headpiece! LOL. Quite a difference in interpretations. I thought it looked like ocean swells with some exotic looking ship coming towards me. We are doing well. No side effects, yet, and hopefully never. Thank you for your prayers.
This looks like one of those headpieces the show girls wear in Las Vegas. It's really beautiful. You always do such interesting and beautiful kaliedos. Thank you. I hope everything is going well for you and your hubby. Still in my prayers.
LOL. I did make the kaleidoscopes, then put them through some more filters, arranged them in a collage, and put that through another filter or two. Yes, this took some time considering all the steps. But it's not like an artist painting on a canvas. I could never do that although my mother, grandfather, sister, and 1 daughter all paint(ed).
