Mandy, I am absolutely clueless as to what you're talking about with the flashing white bits. The only thing I can think of is that the shards of glass from the broken picture frame are reflecting the sunlight or lamplight. And since you're moving the pieces around, the flashing has to be due to that.
Wendy - this puzzle behaved in a very strange way - while I was solving it I noticed that some of the pieces appeared to be flashing white bits... and once I solved it I noticed that both the inner black rings were flashing with white bits. I've never seen anything like it on Jigidi - and I don't know that you planned it either... but it's really cool!!!!! LOL!!
whatnauts, this is happening over and over again to me! As I'm responding to one person, another one puts a comment in that I miss because it's a minute or less apart. Well, luckily I checked my comments once again. Yes, you're right about the fault line. I experienced an earthquake and the picture frame is the only thing that was affected. It crashed to the ground.
Pat, get with the program! This is a PICTURE FRAME. And I dropped it on the floor. I figured I should make a puzzle out of it before I threw it in the trash.
