It's A Web Star!

I agree completely, I think the image just pops! I would use a not more black, but, as you say, people shy away from it too often! :D

I always like the effect of patterns against a black background and it is a pity that not many people seem to appreciate dark images even though there very often sparkling jewels hidden away like in this one. :))
