monza006

now you're getting there Wendy!!!

Wendy_13

OH, geeez, Mandy. I should have been more specific. I meant to say "Only on the rarest of occasions...."

monza006

Wendy, there is the rub.... it's only "sometimes" :~)

Wendy13

Sometimes you're just so smart, Ms. Mandy. ;-)

monza006

LOL - a "new" nose pre-supposes an "old" nose - even if it wasn't there!!!

Wendy_13

Mandy, I'm glad you picked the one you did. But how could Kathy have seen your 'old' nose? You didn't even have one before.

monza006

Wendy, I don't know if Kathy noticed my old nose, let alone my new nose!! When I decided on rhinoplasty, I could have chosen this... :>) but I think I made the right choice even if it is a little crooked!!

Wendy_13

Kathy, that's the perfect gift! I can even share with Mandy. ;-)

Mandy, has Kathy noticed your new nose yet? I just noticed that Kathy and I have the exact same nose. It occurs to me that we went to the same plastic surgeon. :-)

monza006

LOL - Kathy now you are the one passing out smiles!!! All that you say is to true, thankyou :~)))

Hummingbird59

Oh they do indeed multiply and spread. I would even go as far and say that they are magical. Much easier to maintain than rabbits. They require no cages and you also don't have to clean up behind them. You can not beat that LOL They are easy to transport and they are not banned any where in the world to my knowledge. It really was the perfect gift!!! Mandy chose well!!!!

So........shut your eyes and count to five and I will share my one size fits all surprise. Are you ready????????.................................. ........................ .................... It is a............ SMILE :-)

Wendy_13

Kathy, yes, I've been driving my car everywhere. Which car did you pick?
And now that I'm back, let me know what other presents you received....and if they're still multiplying, maybe you should give them out now...especially if they're rabbits. I can't afford to feed lots of rabbits.

monza006

Kathy - I'm delighted to hear your are still enjoying your surprise, and plan to share it with everyone, thanks for letting me know :~)

Hummingbird59

Great follow up Mandy!!! You have brought lots of delight!!! I think Wendy must be out test driving her gift. I wonder which one it was LOL

Anyway, the surprise that I unwrapped is all the while multiplying!!!! When Wendy gets back from her test drive, I will divulge its contents LOL As I said, there are plenty enough to share with everyone :-)

monza006

PJ, you are lovely to come back and comment, thank you.

puzzlejan

Privacy is fine Mandy. The other puzzle was very elegant.
PJ

monza006

PJ thank you for visiting, however this puzzle was a follow up from this one... http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=9QDZH2XJ - see the comments!!
I must maintain the privacy of the recipients!!!! LOL

monza006

Well, Lela, you done good on your "half-goes" !!!

puzzlejan

Fun mystery - is there a solution, a follow-up?
PJ

lelabugosi

(I had three 'half-goes'!).....

monza006

Well done!! Just how many "other" goes did it take???

lelabugosi

Had another go...Hee-Hee!

monza006

Hi lela - the whole board has been on 2 seconds since at least 10:50 (GMT) so for about 1 1/2 hours... amazing!! I was going to bed, but I have to stay and watch for a while longer... you're clinging to the bottom!!!

lelabugosi

Evening Mandy! (I'm off to bed in a minute!).......Funnily enough I was just thinking that someone will get 1 second! Don't know how they do it but it normally seems to happen........

monza006

Yes, I just emailed you with this 1 second update - where did mamere come from? I've just checked my database and she's never shown up on any of my previous puzzles!!!

monza006

Mr Bugosi - Good evening, its nice to see you here :)))

Wendy13

Mandy, you snuck in a comment while I wasn't looking this time. Now you believe me anyway. I've tracked this plenty of times in the past to make sure that I was absolutely right. It's random.

Wendy13

HOLY MOLEY, MACKEREL AND COW! Look what mamere went and did!!!!!!
Mr. Bugosi, stop her!

lelabugosi

Hee-Hee!...Yes, everyone's on 2 seconds!!......(I think it's totally random).....

Wendy13

Mandy, there must be about 200 people with a time of two seconds. LOL!

monza006

Yes, I'm trying to track this more closely, and it certainly seems totally random, and even when the puzzle is done again, it doesn't always generate a different order, but sometimes it does... weirder and weirder. I don't think I've seen a puzzle before where everyone on the top 10 was in first place though... that's quite cool. Shame there aren't more stars on the board - I think people with stars should take priority in the event of a tie!!!

Wendy_13

OK, Mandy, here's your proof that it's totally random. Mr. Bugosi went off the top ten list with his two second time. He has been offline for awhile now, and yet he's in the 6th spot at the moment. So he didn't redo the puzzle and yet he moved up.

monza006

Aha - perhaps its the tadpole wine that has enabled him to jump back onto the board!!! You, my friend, have vanished... :---)

Wendy_13

Mandy, when I used to solve, I really, really wanted the time to be recorded in split seconds and I can't remember now if I suggested that to Magnus or not. Regardless, the times should be divided into at least tenths of a second. I've watched the placement of people before and I have no clue how the people jump around when they have the same time. There has never been a formula that I could see. I just know that in order for placements to change, someone has to solve the puzzle to create any movement at all, and that doesn't necessarily mean that there will be movement (changing of places). As you can see, Mr. Bugosi and I have now earned better 2 seconds and I haven't redone the puzzle.

monza006

manuela9, kareng and zany were the first people to achieve 2 seconds, and I didn't update quickly enough after that to spot who came next!!! I see Mr B has fallen off too now... do you suppose there is a secret clock that measures nanoseconds????

Wendy_13

Uh oh, kareng might have to file a lawsuit now.

Wendy_13

I agree with you, Mandy. I think this fits under laws protecting against discrimination. My 2 seconds is just as good as stephen's, nfourni's, manuela9's, whiska's, zany's, wozzles', cacamayne's, ValerieS's, ohhhhhhhhhhh..........my gawd....even Mr. Bugosi's 2 seconds is ahead of mine!....and finally, kareng's. How come these people are on the list and I'm not?

monza006

Wendy - We need to complain to the management - how can your 2 seconds possibly be less than other people's - Every one is at No 1 - but you've disappeared... there needs to be a public enquiry!!!

Wendy_13

How'd this puzzle get so many solves in such a short time and my 2 seconds is sinking lower than anyone else's two seconds? I'm going to be off the board at this rate. I want to open my present NOW, Mandy!

Wendy_13

Mandy, I tried the "+" sign and the box gets no bigger than my monitor screen. Something is wrong.

Wendy_13

Forget about the Mercedes (if there is more than one car in the box). I hope there's one of these old Studebaker's in the box...

Wendy_13

Mandy, any of these Citroens will do.
http://www.motorstown.com/44015-citroen-d-series.html
Run your cursor over the cars!

monza006

Wendy, I suppose that depends on whether you want the real deal or the Corgi/Dinki version??? If you press the + and - on the solved version you can make it any size you like!!! ;)
I'm glad it made you laugh!!! And you're top of the leader board!!

Wendy_13

ROTFLM_you_know_what_off! When did you sneak this in, Ms. Mandy?
And I can't tell what's inside. How large is the box? Big enough to fit an old Citroen in? Or one of those really old rounded Mercedes? I hope so!
