I'm the last person who would know! :-DDD
Vacation!!! Ooooh, great - enjoy!!
Problem HAS to be related to the Windows version our individual computers are hooked up to. Can't think of anything else - mind you, how should I know!!
That's a shame that you still have that problem. I now can use Chrome on the Dell laptop, and Firefox on the HP, to solve, without any molasses. At least that's the way it was when I left Thursday for a vacation--who knows what will be the case when I get back...!
Thanks, Pat. Wasn't disappointed: loads of fun. Interesting design.
You've combined all my favourites - blues/aquas and the diagonal ...:-)
(4:10 using molassey-Chrome)
Thanks Francine........I will persevere for now and see what happens (I had the mouse problem a while back, but it righted itself for some reason).......
I am flexible only because I have no choice but to BE flexible if I want to solve puzzles! In this case, necessity is the mother of grit-my-teeth-pull-my-hair-switch-computers-and-complain flexibility, not invention...!
I've come to the conclusion that I don't always like computers.
When we bought our first one in early 90s it was of the DOS days ~ I never had any problem whatsoever ~ and more importantly, I had total control.
I certainly don't understand your nuisances. Sounds illogical to have so many incompatibilities. We mere humans have to work around those idiosyncrasies. So glad for you that you have options and are flexible.
Thanks, Francine! And I saw a little about your dog on another puzzle--how terrible to go from what appeared to be a healthy dog to one with such crippling in one day. I'm glad there's been improvement, and I so hope it continues!
I still have molasses mouse in Chrome, but Firefox is fine--at least on this HP computer. On the Dell laptop my husband brought home from work, Chrome is the one that works fine, but Firefox doesn't even show the pieces when I click on solve--I just get a blank screen! What sense does that make?!
Lela, perhaps four months ago puzzle solving became a chore in Chrome. By coincidence, at the same time, the ASCII feature was no longer functioning. [Remember my telling you that by simultaneously pressing the Alt key with the numeric keypad on your right, you were able to type the Pound symbol, Alt+156.]
...I did some troubleshooting, to no avail. The problem was not either of my two mice(?).
...I've heard from at least six Jigidiers all having nuisances with Chrome. Most of them switched to another format, as did Pat.
...Somehow Libby managed to access an old version of Chrome and her 'molasses' problem is now gone.
Many people now prefer Firefox.
Good luck with your nuisances.
I'm having problems with the flash thingy on Chrome.....now the mouse keeps clicking off - I have to pull it out and plug in again.......According to Google, the flash is built-in so doesn't need updating, but it's just not coping with some sites.......
Forgot to mention that this is another great one of yours. I just know it'll be fun.
Pat, another bookmarked one!
Still not solving many puzzles as I still have to leave molassey-Chrome and go to IE which I don't really care for.
[Haven't spent much time in Jigidi in over a month as we were taking care of our pet dog, who, I'm pleased to say, is improving. Now trying to catch up with everyone's news and puzzles.]
Thanks so much, Sue!
Gosh, Pat. This was fun, the colors and pattern are a nice blending. 2:34
Thanks, Lela, Jan, Ardy, and PJ! Yes, it already is larger--Lela is just being his usual lovable, wise guy self! I'm glad you all liked it!
Pat - I'm very happy with the size (fits my small screen), the colors and the pattern. Fun puzzle,
Fun, Pat. Thanks. Unless I'm having another senior moment I believe I saw it in more pieces already.
(I don't really, Jiggy!...But I'd imagine it would be good because of the colour pattern)......
This is a lot of fun! I can see why Lela wants more pieces! Thanks a lot, Pat!
I would like this in more pieces. Thank you.
