Meet Mika. When I first found the barn, and pulled up on the side of the road to take a photo, I couldn't miss this Llama. He was on this pile when I got there and he was still up there when I left. The owners said he was spent alot of time up there like that because he was born on Halloween. They were laughing, though. I think some llamas are naturally guard animals. But what do I know. They had 3 llamas and the other two came up to the fence and demanded to have their noses rubbed. Which I did. Mika never budged, except to look around.

Fun puzzle, warbler! I evokes a memory of when I was in kindergarten (!!) -- more than 60 years ago! I remember taking a field trip to a farm, and the goats would stand on top of piles of boards or other things they could jump up on. It's strange that that made a memorable impression on me, and I hadn't thought of it for a long, long time! Thanks for the puzzle.

LLamas, not camels. What's Mika going to do when the snow pile melts? Or maybe it isn't a snow pile. My eyes aren't what they used to be, just like most of my body! :)))

Thanks for the info, fodus.

Llamas make better guards when they aren't made into pets.

Thanks gladstone, Tex, PG.

I agree, he looks like he is king of his hill. Nice to see.

texasstar7

He thinks he's a mountain goat! Thanks, Warbler, nice photo.

photogent

He is king of the mountain. I am surprised that the electric fence could keep them in with coats like that. Nice one Warbler.

warbler

I think your right Chickie, and I can't wait to go back. Thanks

chickiemama

It looks like he's standing on a pile of limestone. I would have been there all day petting his buddies.

warbler

He seemed to think so and I wasn't going to go question him about it! Thanks lyndee.

And there's the llama. He's king of the hill!
