Got-the-blues blankie, 5x5 (easier)

Well I MUST say it is stunning and very clever use of yarns and threads! I am a knitter and crochet a lot. I have made way too many thread doilies I lost count. Knitting is mostly either hats, scarves or afghans. Too hot here in Florida to knit clothing for myself. I did recently finish knitting a shrug, which i hope to get to wear some winter.

Thanks everybody! Sewandsew, I combine different types of yarn/thread until they are of similar thickness...this also results in new shades of blue that I can't buy! :)
