This one and the Fury have Florida plates. The salt on northern state roads kills the cars.
I was about to call BS on the third headlight till I read up on it. It was an actual aftermarket item with linkage to the steering similar to the Tucker design.
A great car, some of the earlier "President" models were equal to the Lincoln & Cadilac. Some folks that owned these "bullet nosed" models, had an additional head light that was attached to the steering mechanism installed in the "nose". Studebaker was originally a manufacturer of horse drawn wagons, & the old saying goes that they ruined the studebaker when they took the"tongue" (wagon tongue) out of it.
Had one yrs ago called it the "steadybreaker" LOL
I hope Mazda is another Studebaker lover like us, 64fleetwood. We need more Stude pics here.
I like Studebakers, my grandfather's 51 Landcrusier was a specal favorite.
