I'm glad you fished it out and solved it, Gail. Thank you for your lovely compliment and comments. They're very much appreciated, as always. You're welcome for the copyright info... any time. I'll go and check out your reply. :))

I finally rescued this one from my bookmarks. It's gorgeous. I can see how much work you put into this one, Robyn. Thanks. And thanks for the info on the copyrights. (I left you a message in reply to yours on one of my recent puzzles.)

You're so very welcome Cindy. Glad you enjoyed the puzzle and the feathery looking ones, especially. :))

Great puzzle! I especially like the 'feathery' looking areas! Thanks for sharing!

You know, I was thinking that it's probably a good idea to add the Image Copyright with your screen name. Like you mentioned, some people may see initials but not realize it's "you" and your artwork. They might just think it came from somewhere off the internet. So I'll continue to do both, but keep adding that Image Copyright for sure. Then there is no mistaking who the copyright of the puzzle belongs to. In your case, you do add Octomom to your puzzle, so there should be no mistaking who is making your puzzle either. Both those things should be 'enough of a deterrent' ... for most people, anyway.

Thanks for the info, Robyn. About a year after I started coming on Jigidi, someone started posting other people's puzzles as her own, so TPTB had to send her a warning. This past week, I'm told someone took several puzzles and posted them as his/her own, even down to the signatures on them. I'm sure he/she didn't realize it wasn't kosher to do that, and when asked to take them down, he/she did. I think people don't realize that these are personal creations and maybe thought they came from the Internet.

Hi, Gail. I used to add my initials to my work but I often also would forget to, LOL. Then I noticed someone using this image copyright option and I thought that was handy, so I decided to use that every time. I'll still add my initials to my artwork sometimes, depending on the puzzle and I add it to anything real artwork I do, such as drawings, for sure.

I've never come across any of my artwork being posted by someone else. And never came across someone posting other people's artwork, at least not yet. But I guess if I did I'd probably send an email to the Jigidi.com owners and request it be taken down. I have no idea if using the image copyright is a deterrent... hopefully it is. But then there are all kinds of people out there in this great big world of ours so you never know. My brother-in-law is a wildlife artist. I once came across one of his painting available for download on a German site for about $2. I think it was being sold as desktop wallpaper. I told him about it. He didn't pursue it. He looked at it as free advertising. Mind you in his case his signature was still on the painting, they weren't trying to pass it off as their own. They weren't making that much off of it and it would cost a lot to pursue it in court so you have to way both options.

I'd have to say the best bet is to put your initials somewhere on the puzzle itself so that they would have to try and erase it if they could before posting it as their own. That would be the best deterrent. That's not feasible with all the squares but it is with the collages.

Another nice variety, Robyn. I really enjoy your potpourri puzzles, thank you. :-)

Always a treat Robyn and today was extra fun. Really loved the images, and colours. Thanks :-))))

Hi Robyn, this is a fun one. Thanks.
I noticed you put your profile name in the image copyright area when you created your puzzle. Do you do that every time you post? Usually I just click on the area where it says I own the image. I'm wondering if what you do would better stop people on Jigidi from posting our images as their own. I understand someone reposted several people's puzzles last week as his/her own.

You're most welcome, Kirsten. Glad you liked it. :))
