Thanks for comments all. I did an Ok still life last week. When I get a chance I'll scan & post. Ulangariver, had a flu bug but much better now. I've missed anjaleck this month - hope she's OK.

I seem to only be able to copy. Whenever I try to produce something original it just comes out all wrong. Maybe because I don't sketch my ideas out first?

yup - how to put form, color, & pleasing design - not unlike cooking.
