That is interesting Jan; I guess I have always assumed that houses in the US are HUGE, well, by English standards anyway. And there is no getting away from the fact that my own house is fairly small!
Trust me - even your relatively modern fairly typical semi-detached houses in England are a hundred times better than what is usually built here! That's great that your boys have the field to run around in. All dogs need exercise, but with greyhounds it's beyond just exercise - it's their life!
No I agree, but anyway, mine is just a relatively modern fairly typical semi-detached house, so not very interesting or characterful. But I like it, (especially since I treated myself to a new kitchen!) and it is my very own tiny bit of England! And I rent a field which has a dog proofed enclosure in it so my greyhound boy can have a run, which is impossible in my very small garden! I can trust my other dog off the lead on the nearby common, but definitely not him!
