Thank you, Pat. :)
Thank you, Celeste. :)
Such an awesome picture .. All of them are
Thank you, Suzy -- it was a rare day that day. We had gotten all that beautiful, sticky snow, but the water didn't freeze until just after the snow came down, making the icy water a shade of blue instead of white.
You have managed to capture the beauty of mother nature. What a great set you posted today, patti!
Thank you, Shirley. :)
Aww, thanks Chickie. I did use one of these on this year's calendar.
Thank you, Oddio. I agree. It's what I love about winter. The rest isn't all that interesting: scraping windshields, shoveling driveways, freezing every time you go outside, etc. But Mother Nature makes me love it every year anyway!
Thanks for capturing this, Patti. Winter is not my favorite thing, but when the trees get all iced up, it's a beautiful sight to behold.
PLG, I have to keep coming back to look at these! Wish I was on your Christmas list for a calendar. LOL
Wow! this is spectacular, Thanks Patti.
Thank you, Nightrod. :)
B E A U T I F U L PATTI!!!
Thank you, Gladstone. She sure does.
Thanks, Nellies. Glad you're enjoying these. :)
Aww, thank you, Bloorox. Not sure if I'll have more today. We're supposed to get a winter storm tomorrow. Maybe it will yield some photos???
Wow, this is an amazing picture! Looking forward to today's set :)
Another gorgeous one! Thanks PLG.
Thank you for a great picture. Mother Nature can make beautiful scenery.
Thanks, EF. :)
Thank you, just great!
Awww, thank you, PG. I haven't been out with the camera -- you are right. Have been doing all the driving so haven't brought it along. I'll try to get back to it.
Robryan -- thank you. Yes, it's about 8 miles from where I live. I'm on the northern border of Wisconsin, and this is the southern border of Upper Michigan. It's not terribly cold.
Chickie-- so glad you liked this set.
Roseheather -- thank you. So glad you liked these. (You may be right -- it could be a snowmobile trail. Or someone's driveway. I zoomed in from a distance, so don't know what it was.)
A true winter wonder land. One of you best Patti. Get back out there and take the camera.
Snooker, I just read your comment. Maybe that "road" is a trail a snowmobile made. ; ) It might not be a road, but just tracks.
I've been looking at these backwards, started with the one with a quote. I like this one showing the elevation away from the water. The trees, snow laden as they are, look especially beautiful in this photo. ; )
I LOVE the whole set today PLG. Thank you so much.
Is this near where you live PLG? I can't imagine living in such a cold place. Terrific photo - thanks.
Thanks, Snooker. :)
Like the road winding into the trees.
Thank you again, Lyndee. :) That's how I felt the day I saw the scene. Was so glad I had the camera along.
