Laura, we call these Japanese magnolias, and ours finished blooming about a month ago. The buds on our large white magnolias are starting to open, I saw my first one today.
I found a list of 5 nurseries that carried the coral honeysuckle and that was first on the list, so I ordered from there. I didn't even check the others out because they were from a greater distance away. Anyway, I have a wire fence in the back with Virginia creeper growing over half it. I would like the honeysuckle on the other half. I will be sure to let you know how my little plants are when they arrive!
And thank YOU, LJ, for mentioning Almost Eden. It surely has a ton of good reviews; don't know how I missed it, but plan to order something just to check it out! I will be very interested in your experience with A.E.
Thank you so much, Patti and Plumpossum. Miss Pearl???

Thank you, Laurajane, for sharing this. The color is delightful. ; )
Yes, she's been through a lot, but she survived. Thanks, Sandy, Gladstone, Gene and Suzy. Nice to see you tonight.
It's a fighter. It will come back even stronger.
Maybe this year will help it recover from last year hope it does for you lauraj :-))))))
Nice to see Laurajane. Lots of blossoms for this early in the year.
And the poor little thing got a little zap from frost. It is still pretty Laura and next year it will be bigger and stronger.
