Oh, they're always hungry! Beautiful, though.
they look a little hungry..
Thanks for the reference Tex. I'm going to look at it now.
Thank you, Cevas & Morris.
It really was settled quickly tex! Nice picture!
Great picture!! They are beautiful. Thank you, Texasstar.
Thank you, Pkin! So glad you like it.
Mimi, I remembered that from when we had that BP oil spill. Did you hear today they had their fine set and they are being prosecuted for felony criminal charges? Here's the article if you want to read it:
That was such a disaster, and I didn't think it would be settled this quickly.
Love it thanks TS
Yes it is our state bird, smart lady!
Thanks, Mimi. I know about the brown ones, that's your state bird, isn't it? I love them, too.
In Louisiana we have the brown pelicans, not as elegant as yours, but they hang around all year. We see them over our Lake Ponchartrain all the time. Yours are beautiful!
And you'll get Egrets and Herons too, I bet. But the Pelicans are my fave!
We have a wet land area being established close by to where I live and I can't wait until the bird life start to appear. We have many different birds around this area - especially seagulls and pelicans. Lovely pic, tex:)
Yes, they are great, and have only been coming to this lake for the winter the last few years. I watch them every year and am sad to see them leave.
Aren't they great? They stop at Rend Lake in the Fall for a short time. Thanks tex.
You're most welcome, MR, Gracie & Sis! I love these big guys and they really put on a show sometimes. They only got back here this week!
Pretty shot, Sis! Thanks!
Great set Tex! thanks
I like it,thanks TS
