amakrokis, sorry----I just found your comment while going through stuff to, possibly, get rid of. Thank you for your kind wishes. I will never be back to the way I was before my August illness---I've resigned myself to that fact now. I kept waiting to get better but it hasn't happened, really. Those weeks took an awful lot out of me and we just don't bounce back like we did when we were twenty! LOL. But I'm still here, still able to take care of myself, & still grousing, hawhawhaw! I do what I can, when I can & am learning to be satistied with that. Thanks again............

Aanjax.Sorry to hear you've had a bad year healthwise,hope
your eyes heal quickly. I too take many tablets per day,
and my saying is "unless you know what it is to say grace
over those tablets and thank God for medical help."
You've no idea what its like to be ill,all the time!
I thank God for my doc and call him "my resurrection doc!"
Yes God does bless us,I found Jigidi puzzles! :-)

annjax

Pat, you are very wise. Yes we humans will gripe no matter that we are blessed in thousands of ways--some big & obvious, others hardly ever even noticed much less thought about. I take so many pills but really I am SO very grateful for them even if I do grumble sometime. My strength is beginning to come back little by little after my illness & my eyes now seem to be doing well. Thanks for your concern. Yes this has been a trying year for me. Thanks, Pat..........

Hi Ann. Just wandering how you are doing. If we were all made a like we would still have something to say about it wouldn't we. I myself feel lucky just to be alive and have to only take a few pills to be alive. I'm just happy that you are on the road to recovery. All the things that has happened to you this year I was just a little worried. You will probably be glad to see this year over. I know I was in 2010. That was my terrible year. Have a Speedy Recovery Pat

annjax

Hi Pat. Like I said, it's hard to catch just what someone means when you can't see their face or hear the inflections in their voice. I often capitalize a word because I can't make it 'sound' the way I want, and hope the person doesn't misunderstand. I wish they could put at least the ability to italicize here on Jigidi. But anyhow, I understand what you are saying. We are, after all, only human, & it's all His fault [ ;-) ] ---He made us this way!! I'm very lucky that I DON'T have any SERIOUS ( wish I had italics! ) problems with all the health & physical issues I have, especially with all my meds--- it's just that added altogether, as they are, limits so many of my abilities. It also throws a monkey wrench in things you can do & places you can go. But my complaints are just ordinary human grousing. I often think of the alternatives, or how it would be without these 'inconveniences' just as you say---I feel sure I wouldn't even be here now! I use the drops faithfully, as the doc ordered, because this is my eyesight at stake here. And I'm so much more fortunate than millions of others because I DO have my sight, for which I am so mightily thankful. And I am recovering, actually, quite speedily. Just a matter of time. Thanks, Pat, for caring...............

pkin38

Ann I just thank the lord everyday that I don't have to be on dialysis. I have had to deal with this problem for almost 20 years now. Didn't mean a sarcasm. Just thankful. It has been 2 years since I went through what you are going through. In time you forget how long you have to use the drops. We do sometimes bitch about things but what would we do without them. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Pat

annjax

Hi Ank. Hope you had a great B'day. I don't really mind the drops too much---they're just another minor chore, but I know they will help me heal. The license is going to be real 'chance-y'. I will see the doctor again just ONE DAY before the temporary renewal expires.............

Pat, did I detect a tiny bit of sarcasm in your first sentence---the difference between the written word & the spoken word sometimes makes it hard to know exactly what a person means. Anyway, I thank Him, too, realizing how very fortunate we are that He put us in an age where so many 'inconveniences' mean such a better life for us in the long run. We bitch & moan & complain about our medical problems but where would we be without their benefit. I do have at least a month, though, of the drops to contend with. Thanks for thinking about me...............

Adriana, yes, things are going well & looking 'brighter' for me---literally! :-)) I still use my glasses when my eyes get tired & things begin to blur. I don't want to overwork them quite yet. And I really am having nice days & nights now. Thanks for the hug--we all need one sometimes................

A3ana

So nice to see you typing here and that your doing well
Have a nice Night & Day xhug

Isn't it great to be a Senior Citizen, Annjax. So glad I only have to take a few pills in the morning and less at night. But as time goes on I might be hooked to a machine at night, so right now I say thank you lord. Have a great day. The drops won't last that long. It is all worth it.

puzzeljac

Love this sory Ann, a PPE-life. But you can type without glasses and that is the important part. Things are going better and after some weeks you can go back to your normal PP-life.
I'm glad to hear it's going well, pity this one was a little more diffivult. Now let's hope it's going well with your driving licence too.
Have a beautiful day Ann.

annjax

Thanks, treker. We're all one big happy family here! LOL! BTW, you can see a few leaves of my chocolate vine in the background lower right...........

Pat, this one has been a little more difficult. And I always tell people that my days revolve around Pills & Pee. I take 15 different kinds of prescription meds, some more than once a day, & several of them keep me running to the little room. Now I have added another item---eyedrops. I'm still putting them ( three different kinds ) in the left eye & now the same in the right. I have to keep them separate, too, & now the ones for the left eye are slowly decreasing. So now it's 'Pills, Pee, & Eyedrops'. LOL! Sheeesh, my life---what a comedy! Thanks Pat.................

treker

Mimi, this was a killer puzzle! I didn't know where I was most of the time. lol

Good to hear this Ann was a little concerned about you. I guess because I have been through it myself. Now do you have to put drops in different times a day??

annjax

Mimi, I totally agree about our taste, whether eating or growing, our flowers! ;-) Thanks for your concern for my surgery. It was a bit longer & rougher & my eye is a bit sore, but I saw the doc post-op today & he said everything is great!........
Adriana, I hope you have some lantana. They are so easy to grow & Sooo pretty. Thanks for your wishes for my eyes. The left is great & the right seems to meet the doc's expectations...........
Pat, thanks for checking up on me. As you can tell by my other two posts everything is fine. And would you believe----I'm typing this sans glasses!!
HOORAY!!............

pkin38

Hi Annjax Just checking to see how you are. Hope all is going good.

A3ana

Adriana, thank you for your delight in the flowers. Do you have lantana there?
__

mipahollo1

Ann dear, I hope everything went splendidly with the eye surgery! It's so much fun to see so much better! It's odd, but I put some red Lantana on today for Ank's birthday, and I hadn't seen your puzzle yet. I think we all have very good taste in flowers!

pkin38

Gorgeous thanks Annjax

annjax

Sissel, you are so welcome. Thank you.............

Elfie, as with most flowers, you should see them in real life! They are vibrant! Thanks, Sweetie.............

Adriana, thank you for your delight in the flowers. Do you have lantana there? And thanks so much for your sweet thoughts for my surgery tomorrow. I have confidence it will be okay..............

Ank, thank you for enjoying my flowers and mostly for you very good wishes for me tomorrow. And as I believe you said earlier you have a birthday then. I hope to repay your wishes for me by telling you how well everything goes. Thanks, Dear.............

Beautiful Ann.'

Elfie

They are SO intense, Ann!! Thanks so very much!

Sissel

Beautiful collection - thanks for sharing :-)

annjax

Hello there,Tex! So very good to hear from you! I don';t know much about the problems with lantana--this is my first one & so far it is fine and doesn't want to stop blooming! And it draws so many butterflies. I have two or three more that are still doing well but this one is the 'climber'. ; ) I got mine because I saw the ones you posted awhile back & admired them so. I have one shading the roots of one of my clematis but if it does like this one I may have to move it so it won't smother the poor clematis!
I don't know what to tell you about what happened to yours. We had some pretty hot weather too but not like yours---we had a good bit of rain. I just hope yours will do better next year. They are SO pretty. It amazes me how so many colors & color combinations can be on one single plant.............

texasstar7

Hi, Annie! My Lantana did not do well this year at all. It had something on the leaves that looked almost like rust, and didn't bloom hardly at all. It may be too hot even for Lantana, although they're tough. I hope they do better next year. We had many days with temps 108 this year. Did yours do well?

annjax

These are all photos of the same plant, taken today. It is becoming a vine, climbing up and along the fence. It will die back with the first frost but come back from the roots this Spring. And I'm glad because butterflies LOVE it. I have seen many different kinds feeding from it. Now I will have to buy a butterfly identifying book because I don't know what kinds they are! :-) Anybody have suggestions on the best butterfly books?................
