Very funny, Jan! LOL! And Cathy, at times I feel like I live in a Nat Geo special with nature happening all around me. Gotta be prepared! Thanks for the info, photogent! It's a shame there wasn't a second eagle around. I prefer the eagles to crows!
Crows have it all over an Eagle when it comes to brains. They are more maneuverable then the Eagle and will win a three on one every time. When the mate is in the area the tide turns very quickly and the second eagle will hit one of the crows and the game is over. Great picture JC .
I think they've mastered the art of cooperative hunting--if they were 1850's Native Americans using bows and arrows to chase away a bear that had killed a bison, then claiming the food, we would be applauding man's evolved skills! LOL!
