Ten stars, Suzy.
The Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off this weekend but the blooms aren't expected for at least two to three weeks according to yesterday's Washington Post.
You are right, Shirley. Of course spring will arrive. :)Question asked Lyndee, and answered by our in house guru Warbler. Thanks, Patti. How's the thaw coming on that river?
Thank you Suzy! So nice!!!
I've heard them announcing dates for peak cherry bloom in Washington DC, Lyndee and its soon-this month.
I'm wondering if the cherry blossoms are going to bloom on time this year. This is usually time time isn't it????
It will happen again, I promise !
Happy to be able to bring you a little look at what spring SHOULD look like Robbie, Ardy, smllpkg, Francamia, chickie, beekay (I needed something warm!), warbler (hohohohot peppers!), Ginger, Laura and Beekay (an amazing shot of the river. Will it be thawed by August when we are there?).thank you all for your visits and comments!
My Mom asked me today if the river was open yet. I sent her this.http://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=3V9AWJC5
Look at the trees turning green! I can't wait till that happens around here!
They have spring much quicker than up north. Nice memory to see.
I need to go there sometime, I hear they have hot peppers in the vegetable garden!
LOVE this. Thanks :-))Nice new avatar too!
So pretty and refreshing! Thanks Suzy.
Great shot..........Thank you....
Reminds me of an impressionist painting. Soft and lovely!
Suzy, the redbud is gorgeous. Wonder when it will be out this year. Not now, for sure!!! Thanks.
Looking promising Suzy, I like the misty pink standing out below the vineyard, thanks!
