So unreal ... just beautiful
I agree Shirley, who would have thought it possible?
You would not believe it, if you were told about it, you do have to see it, Thanks Mimi.
Thanks Suzy, Pilley, Ank (hope you had a good sleep), Trish, BJ (LOL), Jacques and Hanne. I had never heard anything good about salt mines. I only heard "work in the salt mines" as an example of hard labor, which of course it was. What these people did is beyond amazing to me. The human spirit can be a wonderful thing.
Oh, yes, Jacques...I could see these as a grand stateroom or ballroom too (if one isn't being sacrilegious to say so).Mimi, thank you again for sharing this experience with us. *hugs* to you for this!
So many years and so gigantic beauty!! Thanks so very much Mimi!!
Now that's a dance place
Next time someone ask you to work in the salt mines, think about it.
i have heard of this! mahalo for the post mipahollo!
Mimi I really hope you have more. Thanks. Now it's children bedtime. Have a lovely day, I say good night.
Like Mimi, I went out and ran slideshows on this and other salt mines, just wonderful, thanks for these posts.
Just amazing. I had to go do research on this, as I had never heard of it before. Thanks, Mimi.
