My dad would say they're "green at the gills"! And Warbler, I like Manny, Moe & Jack (Pep Boys) better! They are precious, though. Thanks, RR.
Larry, Moe, and Curley? We have a pair that nest somewhere out behind my house by one of the beaver dams but I've never found the nest. But I've always looked in the trees, like a Great Blue Heron nest would be. These guys are on the ground in a nest. It looks like they have green skin. Very cool, Rob.
Look how long their wings are, Wow!
And with three to feed they'd be going non-stop I guess!! Thanks pg.
They are just in great shape for their age. Mom and dad are working their butts of trying to feed these chicks.
It's a bit hard to tell loveydear - I guess none of them are ever chubby chicks.
They look almost starved to death.
