Star Dahlias

Very cheery on a dull day!!

Thanks for the nice comments jcarroll, katzmum and mpilnadyful. I needed a dark background so I put the jar on the kitchen counter against the side of the fridge. They do look rather cheerful, don't they?

They are Star Dahlias but with the bright color, they remind me more of the sun and its rays. They make me happy. Thanks

Hi Gramdrgon! The lady who gave the tiny plants to me two months ago told me that if you pick them the plant produces more and more. So, I take a few but I always leave most of them in the garden because the bees like them.

Lovely, but don't you kind of hate to pick them?
