Mistletoe and rosehips

Mistletoe is very pretty, but we never used it much; it was very expensive here in New Jersey because it doesn't grow wild. That was a wonderful memory to share, Tex - where did you live that it grew wild?

Tex, you're welcome. I am just happy that my photo evoked such a lovely memory for you.

This brings back such sweet memories. My dad would climb up in a tree every year to get me some mistletoe. Rain or shine, he'd do that every year at Christmas till he died in 1979. I haven't seen any up close since. Thanks so much for that.
