# Mayan Calendar 1

I've been studying the 2012 prediction for years now.
Currently reading 'the Dummies guide to 2012'....

Improvement is slow but steady, annjax. Thanks for asking :). gtb, as soon as I get sorted out here (just got home yesterday afternoon) I'll arrange a pic. As for the explanation: you need a pretty fair knowledge of different mathematical systems to understand it! Way beyond my grasp!!!

I'm with gtb---a puzzle would be nice.
How are you doing? Getting better? Sure hope so...........

Can you take a pic of them Colind4? Would love to see it as a puzzie :-)
As a lot of the world knows the Mayan Calendar ends on December 21st this year. I've been studying this for quite a long time....

colin, that sounds like a wonderful thing to have. If you do come up with the explanation page why don't you mount it on wood, too, & hang them together?

These 2 calendars are very lovely, groovy :) I have one which is hand-carved wood for the circular frame, with inlaid pieces of wood also finely carved to represent each of the images. It's also very decorative. I did get a written explanation with the calendar but, search as I might, I can't find it:(. I guess I'll have to google it!

Never mind, groovy. I just found chrissie's post................

Groovy, I noticed your new profile pic & pulled it up to see it better and what a shock! I have been asking & asking but nobody seemed to know. Please tell us about what happened & when..........

Thank you Sarah and Nancy...i agree with your both...i found this rendition truly eye catching.

I agree with SarahCat this one is beautiful thanks

Thank you, Groovy. This is truly the most beautiful rendering of the Mayan Calendar I have ever seen. I wish I knew what all the symbols mean, but the artwork in and of itself is worth doing the puzzle. It really is beautiful.
