Thanks for all your nice comments. Lots of luck with your jade, annjax!
You folks have inspired me. Think I'll get one for myself. Thanks, Varda...............
It's fabulous, Varda - SO many flowers!! Thanks so very much and happy spring!!
This is beautiful, Varda. My grandmother grew one in her house for years and years and I vaguely remember that she got it to bloom sometimes but never, never in such glorious profusion as this!
YO, I think so, but I'm not sure. Wikipedia's picture of "Agave attenuata" looks pretty close.Jade plants are tough, Warbler!
They are gorgeous plants. My parents took a cutting from one at the hotel where they honeymooned and it grew into a nice tree. Are those agaves in the background?
I gave my wife one for our 1st anniversary 30 year ago and she still has it. Plus lots of baby jades. Thanks Plum
These things grow like weeds here. Break a piece off, drop it on the ground, and it will "plant" itself and flourish. Thanks for comments, all!
Never seen one PPM, this is gorgeous, thanks.
My goodness, I have had jade plants as house plants but I didn't know that they produced flowers! Wow. Thanks for sharing this.
Your possumness, I had one that bloomed, when I left Florida I gave it to a friend and he never knew it bloomed either. Very cool plant and they know when spring has sprung even in the snow.
I didn't even know that jade plants bloom! :)
