Right on the main street through town sits this unusual church with no steeple. The white circle on the front says Methodist church, 1873. All the bottom big windows had stained glass.

It is pretty simple but majestic, PG All the lower windows on the other(west) side have their original shutters, mortise and tendon and pegged construction.

Thanks Tex. The sun was out and I went for an hour to Charlottesville and took photos, some of churches that are in a whole different league from this, some from the 1700's
