Thank you, Cevas. Our pelicans are the white American pelicans, and they are huge, beautiful ones. Later on I will post some closeup pix if I can.
Beautiful picture! Thank you, Texas. And pelicans! How neat! We don't see those here.
Ha, ha, Gemstone, it would be nice most years to be able to wear one in December! Not much cold weather here. Thanks, Pkin & Gemstone for stopping by.
During Expo '86 I stood in line behind a woman from Texas who was saying to her nine year old son, "It's so nice to be able to wear a sweater in August." :)
Nice picture TS thanks
Silver, it's getting old, this hot weather. It has gotten so that summer is 9 months of the year, and some of it is unbearable, June, July, & August, especially. Thanks, Goingsilver, CM & Ank!
Lovely photo Tex. Sandy don't be too.......... lol
Yep innocent! That's me alright. LOL
Pretty scene, and your weather is amazing; we were lucky to have those kind of temperatures in our so called summer!
You're most welcome, PLG.
Oooh, lovely place! Thanks, TS!
Yes, Lyndee, they are. There was a bunch of them when I took this.
Hey, Missy, you're back, and I love that pic. You look sweet and innocent-- funny what photography can do!
I really like this shot little girl!
Are those the pelicans on the water? They look white but that's all I can tell.
I didn't really notice, but it's probably not, because it was 80 degrees yesterday when this was taken. Morris, this is where the (American) White Pelicans hang out, and there's usually about fifty hanging around. They are so beautiful and really put on a show. I call it water dancing!
Is that guy wearing a Winter jacket? Nice picture!
