Can hardly wait for those pretty birdies...........
Very creative, Trekster. Thanks for the info.
Thank You Mimi and Ann. I spent half the day cutting 10 gauge sheet steel today for the next undertaking which I figure will be 4 months in the making. I agreed to show IT and the process after the piece is completed. Stay tuned,...FUN!!
Wonderful! Oh, I did miss your work!
All I can say, treker, is BEAUTIFUL!............
Thank you and YW, puzzeljacoddio- The limbs are 1/2" and a few 3/8" lengths of wire rope (cable.) After I degreased each length, I welded a bead the entire length of each piece for support and to hold the desired shape. Each piece was then welded to the upright. I finally applied an oxidizer to the entire project. "Metals Plus" is a rusting agent (oxidizer) that I dearly love to use. The metal changes before your eyes in 3 seconds!!! Check 'em out on line. The project took 3 months to complete. Thanks for your comments as well.
Wow Treker, you are an artist. It's beautiful. Thanks
Way to go, Treker. Nice artwork. (Rebar?)
Thank you PLG and pkh,... You are most kind!
Wow -- you're so talented!
Yard art....or art yard? I think the second. Your garden and yard are a work of art.
Thank you PLG! Yes, my yard ( and my "work.") The largest element is 74" tall
Beautiful, Treker! Your yard?
