Something else I've never seen before joining here.
Nice shot, lyndee! They are nice trees.
You're welcome snooker. Yes, they are. They only look big because it's a close-up.
Thanks, lyndee. Guess the flowers are very tiny.
Yes it is Jack. We need to enjoy every day we have.Thank you Joy. Your tree may well be a red maple. I'll post mine again when the leaves get bigger.Snooker, I'm not sure you really notice the yellow flower unless you get really close with the camera like I did as this is the first time I noticed and we planted the tree at least 20 yrs ago.
the world is what you make of it sweetie!
It IS a wonderful world, Lyndee -- God made it so for us to enjoy. That's so neat. I think the red leaves I posted today may be red maple, too. Very pretty picture. I like it.
Have never seen this but don't have red maples here that I know of. Didn't see it when I lived up north either.
Thank you Patti and Mary.
And a beautiful shot of your favorite tree it is lyndee, thank you.
I have to agree! And a wonderful photo too! Thank you Lyndee!
Thank you Pat.
Very true Photogent. You're welcome pumpkin.
It is a wonderful world. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Lyndee they are so lovely first when they come out in the spring then when they are finished in the fall.
Thank you Loveydear, Chickie, Bookish, Tex, Fileusa and Anitas. I'm so glad I was able to share this beauty with everyone. Had it not been for jigidi, I too would not had realized how amazing this tree can be.
Awesome moment captured! I've said a lot lately about catching all the different stages of growth, from bare branch, to bud, to blossom, to fruit, etc, because every stage has it's time and place in the progression, and each stage has a 'look' all it's own. I'm glad you needed to take a pic of something and caught this to share. I didn't know they had a flowering stage either, but now we all know!!!
Wow, I didn't know they got those pretty yellow flowers on them. Very pretty lyndee.
I also have never seen one like this; it's quite beautiful.
Really pretty, Lyndee. Thanks.
Sheer beauty! It's the first time I have seen anything like it. I did not know the red maple grew like this.Beautiful... thanks..Patricia :)
And here, today, all the little yellow pods came down from the maples all over town like snow. The streets and sidewalks were covered. Pretty photo.
Thanks Rose. I love the way they are red in the spring, green in the summer and gold in the fall.Laura, I didn't know it neither until I needed to take a picture of something and decide to do a close up of the maple. Close up, it takes on a completely different look. I think it is beautiful.
I didn't know it did this!
Beautiful. I do love the red maple tree. ; )
Thank you Sirenita.
