Thank you all for your comments. They made me feel so much better. She was a big part of my life and my sons. She's been there everyday of his so he is taking it harder. He's 11 yrs. I was hoping she would last as long as my sister's cat. She was 26yrs. I was in 5th grade when she was born. Merry Christmas to all you great people.

I had a cat called Grasshopper we thought she would live forever she was born when I was in middle school and died in her twenty's I have never heard of a cat living soo long. I really miss her! even now and with other cats. I am now in my fifties. So sorry for your loss!

My Jesse cat crossed that Rainbow Bridge 3 years ago. I miss him but I have such funny, loving memories, that I will always treasure. He will always be a part of my life. I grieve with you.
