Thanks for all comments. They grow in 'Mata Atlântica', gdrannie. If you get a look on google maps you'll see a montain chain by the coastline from north to south of Brasil. This is Serra do Mar, its enviroment and the surrounds are called 'Mata Atlântica'.
I did this puzzle many months ago and never had my questions answered...thank you, Tati. :)
So colourful! First for me also but they look so appetising.
Terrific puzzle! Now I really wish I lived somewhere that I could try the juice. Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture and the information. :)
Were do they grow?
They look not only juicy but beautiful.
Pitanga is a kind of cherry. We can't find them in markets 'cause it's delicate and decays very quickly. When it turns to red it's time to make jellies, liquors or the best way of eating it, directly from the tree. There're some pitanga juice packs too.
Same here.....what on earth are they?.......
These are beautiful and I have never seen them or heard of them. Are they sweet and what do you do with them? Thanks Tatinha.
