U.S. Military "Scrip" & Japanese "Invasion Money (Theme Puzzle)

The "scrip", as we called it, was issued to prevent all of us GI's from having "green money" (US Dollars), which might be used on the black market. It was used well after WWII in Europe where I went in '55. The bottom two bills are small denomination "invasion money" printed by the Japanese for use in the Pacific in places they conquered.
