Thanks for comments lyndee, Healer and Ank.
Wow, I hope I will never see this in real.
I remember that! We were in Ohio, just outside of Dayton back then. We had an old blue and white Bronco 4 wheel drive, and went out in it to look at the snow drifts as high as houses were tall. We had no business being out in it.
We built our house in 77 in a rural area. When we got those storms two years in a row, I thought maybe we had made a mistake! Thank goodness, our winters have tamed down some!!!!!
Wasn't it a dandy lyndee?
I remember this snow storm Chickie. We had a bad one 78 and 79. The drifts were unbelievable. We were snowed in for three days and then the plows only cleared out one lane.
I bet it did.
Did a good job pulling a horse trailer tu.
tu typos, should read one and In. Those things were tanks, go through anything!
That's some serious snow!
Another chapter in the life of chickiemamahen, huh?
I had on of the last ones made, a 1996. I an earlier chapter of my life. It was a nice vehicle.
Chains are not allowed in Illinois chookies. That vehicle was 4 wheel drive. Some states do allow chains (like in the mountains).
Now that what a call a serious lot of snow. Would you have to have chains on your tyres to drive aloing that road, chickie?
Yes, in my past life. LOL (shared)
Was it yours?
Hey! Hi forris! Yes it is.
I remember when! Is that an old Bronco?
