Thank you, Ann. In the center beyond the apple tree are 2 stumps with boards across them. We keep the canoe up off the ground there in the summer. On the left I'm not sire what you're seeing. It's just a brushy area that grows wild over there. (I think it's owned by whoever owns the old paper mill property, upstream from us just a bit. It's being torn down now.)
This is beautiful, Patti. And I'm curious~~what are those things right along the edge of the snow & water, one at left & the other center photo. I can't make them out...........
This is really pretty, PLG. That is what we are supposed to get here, but with the drought, it's looking like less and less of a possibility. That is what the St Louis weather people say, anyway.
Only a few inches? A quarter inch would be too much for me :-) Wonderful photograph, Patti. Thank you for sharing your world with us. We had 30 deg today - 86 in the old money - and had the air con running this arvo. Such a contrast to your climate :-)
Well, PLG, we had a short spell of "little snow" this am. Beautiful, but it didn't show on any surface, just made the air look festive for a short while. ; ) It isn't too promising for us, according to the weather reports.
Beautiful!! a few inches already? something is wrong, we are the ones supposed to get this snow and all we are getting is rain and rain! I am not complaining.
Ahhhh, beautiful Patti, and indeed with sun it's great. Our snow is gone again after a night and day of rain. We had about 2 inch. We had sun too so it was lovely. But I'm glad we could walk normal for two days. For this evening they expact sleet. brrrrrrrrrr. Have a nice day.
Ah, when the sun is shining, the snow looks inviting!
Keep snapping these great pictures, Patti.
(Some of my family in Minnesota got about 10 inches of this stuff yesterday.)
