Hello Gail. How are you? I do hope Norton continues to make progress.Yes, I did take the photo and thank you very much for the appreciative comment. I was very surprised to find this chap walking round my garden early one morning. The nearest fields are a fair way away from my house so he must have flown some distance. He stayed around for a few days and I fed him some of the wild bird food containing, amongst other things, wheat seed, which we always have around. He soon learnt that I wasn't a threat to him and would run down the garden for his food.
I saw a pheasant by the side of the road with the sun light hitting the breast feathers. Beautiful. And he's a smart bird, too.
