That is my first encounter with a secluded beach in Antigua and it looks a wonderful place except for the jellyfish, there has always to be something to spoil paradise, be it jellyfish or cockerels :))
Actually - you had an adventure! Sounds most educational! Just the animals alone are worth a separate memory!! LOL
We have photos with the stingrays. And John got to feed one! They eat shrimp and John felt it slurp it up! I was a chicken. They were quite heavy and just holding one was enough!
Think I may have missed a few....perhaps a return trip is called for! :-D We had dinner in the restaurant at the dockyard. We were staying in a private house just down the road and wished we had booked in elsewhere. Family of 8 with 5 goats, numerous chickens and the loudest cockerel in Antigua were next door in a 2 room house!! Our place was very nice but too noisy!
I didn't know about the stingrays! Rats! I would have loved to have done that Jan. We walked miles in the heat to get to this beach and were gasping to jump in the sea. Unfortunately there had been a storm a couple of days before and the sea was full of thousands of small jellyfish!
Fabulous photo! Wonderfully wind-blown tree and great texture and color throughout. We love Antigua! This is where we got to hold the stingrays. That was quite an experience!!!!!
