Hi Rob! Like I said below in my last comment to you, this was the info that was given with the photo when we took it! So, it was probably a misprint or maybe they just didn't know what kind of frog it was. I'm really not sure which one!

Hi there SlowMind101! Your avatar is new to me, so let me first welcome you! The only reason we called it that, was because that's what the info on the pic said it was when we downloaded it! Sorry for the wrong info. Actually poison arrow frogs are different from poison dart frogs! There are many different colored poison dart frogs! We've been researching them a lot lately, they come in reds, blues, greens, yellows, and some have orange on them, like this little guy does. We've seen the poison arrow frogs that you are speaking of! They too are very beautiful!

It MIGHT be a Caladium SlowMind - not too sure tho! They come in quite a few colours.

Rob is right- poison arrow frogs are black with neon colored splotches. They're amazing- they come in all different colors- only one neon color per frog though.

What the hell is this one sitting on?

Hi Rob! First of all, I'm Gary not Monica! She's busy doing the dishes while I'm on her computer having fun! Played hooky from work today! SSSHHHH! Don't tell anyone! L.O.L. I just knew you would like this one! Pretty clever pic huh? I too love the color contrast with the purple leaf! When we downloaded this pic it said that it was a poisonous frog so we just assumed that it was! I guess they misprinted it then or maybe didn't know the difference! Whatever, your right, he's very pretty and that's what counts! Thanks so much for popping by to see me!

Nice photo with the contrasting leaf colour Monica. However - I think he may be a non-poisonous Red-eyed Tree Frog. Whatever - he's a lovely creature!! Thanks.

Hi pattyanne! They sure are, aren't they! I just love bright colors, so I was ecstatic when I found this one! Thanks so much for stopping in to see me!

The colors are just right to show off that frog.
