This clock was given to us by a very dear friend back in 1998 when we lived in Arizona. The bird pictures have faded but we still hear their songs every hour (an electric eye silences their voices when it's dark).
Back then we would hear the Mourning Dove at 7:00 o'clock. In Missouri, we hear them all the time!

I like these clock as they always remind you of the sweet sounds of the outdoors. Great on JC.

My uncle has one of these. There was also one of these at the doctor's office where my dad had his chemotherapy before he died (it was a terminal brain tumor; we were just buying time)--anyway, the patients could sit in their recliners and enjoy the bird calls. It was a thoughtful touch in such a place.

What a great clock. I like the idea of it not singing at night. We have an old cuckoo from the turn of the century. We don't run it however because it tended to keep us awake at night.

Thanks, Pat, Michelle, chickie, Cathy and Pinknblack!
One problem, though. I feed the dogs their supper about 5 pm and when we change the clocks (spring forward) the dogs want to be fed an hour earlier!
