Better? Uh, how about more compulsive?!!! I just checked our profiles--granted, you joined Jigidi 5 months after I did, but we've both been on it for more than 2 years. You've solved 3,364 puzzles, and I've solved 13,347--almost 10,000 more! You've placed 263,228 pieces, and I've placed 1,253,402--almost a million more! I would have to say that I have had just a teensy weensy bit more practice than you, no?! I should HOPE I'd be a little quicker by now! LOL!!!
No problem. I just wanted to give credit to the better puzzler, you. ; )
Well, I'm glad I got everything so mixed up! LOL!!!!!!
The screen on the laptop is bigger. ; ) My mate claims it isn't, however ... he doesn't do many puzzles. We looked at a bigger screen when we bought this new computer but decided to wait for one to go on sale.
I thought that you used a small screen, so I assumed it was a laptop....
Yeah, but I also use a desk top computer screen! : )
I give all the credit to using a desktop computer screen! :-)))
See, I knew you could best me. ; )
The other one took me 1:15:02, and this one took me 56:56. I was right--this one was easier! In fact, it felt as if there would be an even bigger time difference--I never felt as if I were struggling or lost on this one, whereas on the other I felt that way constantly! LOL!
Okay, I'll try to get to it today! Thanks, roseheather! :-)))
Go ahead, PD, it isn't bad at all! ; ) I know you can beat me. lol Now we just have to see. : ) My time, 2:15:47
I really should do this, just to see if I was right--the new one was REALLY hard for me, because it was hard to tell the lines (which were fairly thick) from the sections (which were, except for small parts, very thin)--and, therefore, too similar! Since the same colors were used in both the lines and the sections, that made it really hard to sort, at least for me. This one LOOKS as if there's enough width in the sections for them to be useful/distinguishable. We shall see! :-))))))
I think the new one will be more difficult to solve. I solved this one by first* searching for the dark red/wine pieces and then the bright pink pieces. No colours immediately stand out on the new version, so I think it will be a little harder. But what's most important is that it's a new swirl - and that's all that really matters :))))))))* Really it was second, I seem to need to sort all the black pieces out of the way first, even if I don't put them together right away. Since they comprise the most pieces of any one colour, it still makes sense for me to do this.
Thanks, whatnauts! I made a new one last night with as many, if not more, lines, but I colored it differently. I think I like this version more than the new one, but at least it will be new! LOL!
This swirl was wonderful to solve, PD!! Thanks again :))))) (1:01:44)
Thanks X 3, as well! LOL! I figured you'd like the multiple sections--none too fat to deal with easily! Thanks, whatnauts! :-)))
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. My markmarks are filling up with all these terrific postings of yours :))))))
