Beautiful rock pools in Jiuzhaigou, a nature reserve located in the Sichuan Province of China.

Thanks for looking that up. It does make more sense as the pools don't look like anything I'm familiar with, even though the background looks like some areas of the Rockies. Too bad as I was looking forward to visiting and it would have been much easier than going to China.

I looked these pools up on the Internet, and, although many of the copies of this photo say it's in Canada, I found out that they're really in Jiuzhaigou, a nature reserve located in the Sichuan Province of China.

What's the story behind these pools? They look man-made. Very interesting.
