Looks like you wouldn't have any problem stocking up on goodies for a healthy diet. Thanks Chookies.
It all looks good chookie!! I had fresh spring asparagus not long ago that I put into a ricotta & leek flan - yum!!
You sure have giant produce over there chookies. Everything looks nice and fresh too!
I'm glad you all enjoyed the trip around my local market - I try to get there as often as I can but I tend to buy things that I don't really need (like truffles for instance). I don't know what the farmers use in their soil, Patricia, but the home gardener tends to use Dynamic Lifter, Blood & Bone, horse, cow, sheep and fowl manure. I drive to the country often and outside the farmers driveway gate is always bags of manure that can be purchased for a couple of dollars. The drive home is always quite uncomfortable with bags of manure in the boot but my garden sure thanks me for doing so.Thanks for stopping by with your comments, jigidi friends.
The veg look enormous and look so delicious. What type of feed do they use on the soil? :))
How do those beans and peas get to be soooooo BIG?
chookies, thanks for a great tour.
I would say...if it isn't here...you really don't need it!
Ah yes, wish my grocer had these goodies with all the great color and freshness. Thanks chookies.
How beautifully laid out all these lovely veggies are! I enjoyed my trip round the market - have bookmarked them for later - thanks for posting, Chookies.
