I have to agree with yellowGal, we too adopted an older child, we are the best of friends and we've never regretted a moment. Perhaps the best part has been that I was with her when she had her first child, making up for not being there when she was born she says:-)))) Happy New Year
Time 0:26 Love this joke, Patti, I think she is a wonderful duck despite her generous bill. And thank you for having adopted an 'older' child, they deserve to have parents, too! God bless.
Looks like she could play ping pong with that beak!
: > ) My youngest, now a parent herself, would hear me tell some corny joke and study on it for a minute, finally catch on, and look at me and say, "Get it??" That always cracked me up.
Thank you, Ank. Sorry -- I think it's hard to understand jokes in different languages. I adopted my daughter from VietNam when she was about 8 years old, and although she learned English pretty quickly, jokes took much longer. Even now when she's 26, she still doesn't understand a lot of jokes. I think it's great that you figured it out!
I like it Patti and she has a big bill
I'm so stupid. I read bills and I did not understand wat a bill had to do with a duck. So I took my dictionary and discovered the other meanings of bill. Why didn't I read the comments first. I should have understand much sooner
